Established
in 1993 - Browne Bears are handcrafted
in our barn workshop

I have always been interested in crafts and sewing, which I learnt at an early age. After attending art courses, I designed and made soft toys and dolls clothes. In 1993 I decided to concentrate on collectors' bears and gollies, and I was also able to design their clothes. A lifetime experience of sewing and embroidery skills has enabled me to make my own patterns and create top quality original bears for collectors.
Owing to our remote location in Cumbria, we never attend Bear Fairs. Instead we prefer to sell our products through specialist outlets and gift shops.
We have sent our bears
all over the world, including
Austria, Holland, Japan and USA.
We produce short limited edition and one-of bears and gollies. They come with laminated tags and their own certificates. We are pleased to discuss your requirements for shop exclusives - designed especially for you!
